Heavy haul and oversized freight hauled coast to coast by a team that treats your load like it is our own.
When it comes to hiring a company who specializes in oversized loads, Tavus Transportation is the right company for the job. While we can haul all different types of cargo, we specialize in odd shaped cargo, oversized loads, and heavy haul trucking. If we can fit it on our Step Deck or RGN Trailer, we can get it shipped anywhere you need it to go.
An oversize load can be anything from an aircraft fuselage to a spool of cable to a multi‑ton excavator. Tavus Transportation has moved them all. The composition of these loads can vary widely, but they all share one thing – the sheer size makes them dangerous to transport. That’s why having the proper trucks and trailers for oversize load freight is essential. The safety of the team and of your equipment is Tavus top priority.
Three trailer types, one standard. Tell us the dimensions and the deadline, and we will put the right deck under your freight.
Removable Gooseneck (RGN) trailers are an extremely versatile way to transport oversized and heavy cargo. RGNs consist of a gooseneck where the trailer connects to the truck, a drop deck, and a step back up over the axles (2, 3, or 4 axles are standard).

Semi‑trailer with two deck levels: a higher deck that’s close to the truck cab and a lower deck towards the rear. The higher deck at the front is designed to clear the edge of a tractor safely, but it can also drop down to help the towing of taller cargo.

The flatbed trailer is a type of open deck equipment with no sides and no roof, mainly used for transporting industrial commodities. The flatbed trailer is very versatile, making them a common asset for carriers.
